The portrait that depinniped shot on Feb. 9, 2011 isn’t unique style, but something about the subject’s pouty lips and downcast eyes and the overall composition grabs me—and I hope you. He captured self-titled “Slowly Awakening” using the Panasonic DMC-LX1, which is a digital compact. But he uses the Hipstamatic app on a smartphone for more recent compositions.
