Google inspires today’s selection. The Alphabet subsidiary is holding a media event presumably to launch the new version of its mobile platform and new Nexus devices. Russian photographer Oleg—his importance implied by no given last name—shot self-titled “Android Going Travel Vintage” on April 3, 2012, using Panasonic DMC-G2 and Konica Hexanon 50/1.7 lens. Oleg joined Flickr in July 2006, and he lives in Moscow. The photo takes the Day for its rustic feel and suggestive open latch that, ah,opens many possible storytelling paths.
