Uber for EMTs?

I passed this unusual emergency vehicle while walking up Meade Ave. between Georgia and Florida streets in San Diego’s University Heights neighborhood on April 27, 2018. I captured the Featured Image at 5:01 p.m. PDT, using Leica M10 and Summarit-M 1:2.4/50 lens. Vitals: f/5.6, ISO 100, 1/500 sec, 50mm.

The startup service claims to be “a new kind of on demand ambulance services provider that is transforming medical transportation through the use of disruptive technology, better compensation for EMTs and a unique business model that guarantees the highest level of care…Ambulnz allows EMTs to build a path to entrepreneurship and the ability to build meaningful careers in the ambulance service. Why not turn a job into a career?” Good question.

For the privacy of the vehicle’s crew, in post-production I removed the license plate number.
