Vitals: f/11, ISO 400, 1/125 sec, 35mm. The photo wins the holiday for composition (marked by American flag in the foreground), color, contrast, crispness, and vibrancy.
Bernard explains about the location that attracts “thousands of visitors every year”: “The antique boardwalk on wooden pilings over Ketchikan Creek is home to restaurants, unique curio shops, the Dollys House Museum, and private dwellings, as well as some of the best salmon viewing areas in Ketchikan. Married Mans Trail and the Salmon Ladder are also not to be missed when exploring Creek Street!”
