Looking Down Into Arroyo Canyon

Where does four years go? By my recollection, before yesterday’s expedition, my wife and I hadn’t visited the Spruce Street Suspension Bridge since late-May 2017. The Featured Image (warning: 33MB file), captured using Leica Q2, looks from the center of the walkway across Arroyo Canyon below to downtown San Diego cresting the horizon. Vitals, aperture and shutter speed manually set: f/8, ISO 400, 1/500 sec, 28mm; 12:27 p.m. PDT.

The bridge moved as people walked along, so much so that I worried about motion blur, which is the major reason for my choosing the shutter speed. Annie and I have walked the canyon trail, although not recently, but we should sometime soon.
