My wife never thought much of William Shatner’s acting. Me, I’ve had a soft spot for the original “Star Trek“, regardless of acting skills. But I must say that Shatner’s most recent act, of selling a kidney stone, is a morbid performance—and it confirms all my worst stereotypes about the rich and infamous. This most recent act truly is “Where No Man Has Gone Before“, or rightly where no man should go.
Selling a kidney stone for charity? Shatner should have emptied the interest on his bank account, which would have been a surer sign of sincerity, rather than make more claim to infamy.
