The photostream of Thomas Leth-Olsen is a study in objects—and perspective about them. Our Day Taker is example, from the vantage point of color rather than direction. Simplicity creates drama. He shot self-titled “Twist” on Aug. 4, 2012, using Nikon D800 and 85mm f/1.4 lens. Vitals: f/8, ISO 110, 1/400 sec.
“I tend to prefer images with a graphical quality”, Thomas says. “I enjoy the challenge of creating an interesting photo out of something ordinary. My focus is on the composition, light and shadows, graphics and keeping it simple”.
From Hamar, Norway, but living in Antibes, France, the IT manager joined Flickr in October 2010. For a bigger treat, visit his photo website.
