I don’t know what to make of this decorative derelict—or seemingly so seen from the front (looks like the alley-facing portion of the property might be inhabited). I shot the Featured Image, using Leica Q2, when my wife and I walked by on April 8, 2021. Vitals, aperture manually set: f/5.6, ISO 100, 1/800 sec, 28mm; 10:22 a.m. PDT.
The flower power house is located along Maryland Street in San Diego’s University Heights neighborhood—somewhere between Meade and Monroe. I need to see if there is any more art, or perhaps whether the place has been renovated or raised.
