Today’s selection is meant as a teaser for album/set “Ladakh“, which compiles photos Prabhu B Doss shot on two different motorcycle trips. Self-titled “Royal Parking Lot” takes the Day for composition and drama. The motorcycles may be still, but the expansive sky is not. I could have chosen so many other compelling images, such as “Magical Pangong“, “School Girls“, or “Shepard“, as examples.
Prabhu used Nikon D7000 and 10-20mm f/4-5.6 lens to capture the motorcycles parked before Pangong Tso (Lake) in Ladakh, India, on Sept. 3, 2011. Vitals: f/8, ISO 100, 1/640, 10mm. He is from Bangalore, but lives in Chennai, which is 331 kilometers to the East. He joined Flickr in July 2006 but isn’t recently active. Look for him on Facebook.
