Soon summer will end in the Northern Hemisphere—cooler weather some places than others; perhaps Hjärup, Sweden, where Maria Eklind captured self-titled “Yellow Field” on May 13, 2020, using Nikon D5500 and 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 lens. Vitals: f/10, ISO 200, 1/400 sec, 18mm. The landscape is a keeper for composition—the way the eye leads along to the distant farm buildings. The scene is charming and serene.
