For our last Wednesday of the month, we turn to Massimo Della Valle, who on Nov. 26, 2017 used Ricoh GR II to shoot self-titled “I Gabbiani di Sirmione“, which translates from the Italian as “The seagulls of Sirmione”. Vitals: f/4, ISO 100, 1/640 sec, 18.3mm. The photo is a keeper for composition, contrast, and drama.
Massimo describes himself as a “a no-pro photographer based in Turin, Italy, with passion for street photography. He adds: “Most of my photos are taken with the Leica MM (CCD digital), but I like a lot to use also my M7 loaded with kodak Tri-X 400 (film camera)”. He joined Flickr in June 2012 but hasn’t updated his Photostream in about two years.
