I don’t recall taking this portrait—nor others from the same shoot accompanying it. So credit belongs to my wife, for making an iconic moment during an elementary school science class. This youngster would have been one of our daughter’s classmates. I love his expression, the T-Shirt, and how he holds the Painted Lady butterfly.
The Featured Image comes from the 3.34-megapixel compact Olympus C-3030Z, which I don’t even recall owning. How pathetic is that. Vitals: f/2.8, ISO 100, 1/250 sec, 52mm (estimated film equivalent); 1:21 p.m. EDT, May 3, 2002. The photo is presented as composed, without alteration.
