The saying used to be, when cell phone cameras were newer and far from delivering sharp, well-balanced photos: The camera you have with you is better than none. I think of far-reaching focal length similarly. The telephoto with you is better than none. Jeans or shorts pocket-carriable is an amazing benefit.
I am not mourning over this dove, because the smartphone let me make the moment.
