Someone really needs to correct the sign to the left. Instead of beware, it should read be aware—as in look out for the friendly dog, who just happens to appear to be big and dangerous. He (or she) is a teddy bear—or so seems the demeanor anytime I see him (or her).

Southern Californians love their dogs. I have never lived anyplace else where the animals are so abundant. I frequently enough will see someone walking three or even four mutts—yeah, often smaller than this fine specimen. That said, it’s not unusual to come upon two large dogs, ah, walking their owner—if you get the meaning.
