Flickr a Day 38: ‘Master of Venice’

Cat photos on the Internet are just so cliché. Your, eh, Caturday selection is not, which is why I chose it. The composition is lovely, and photographer Alexis Bross wisely chose to make the feline an important part of the image rather than overly large subject, which is more typical and not nearly as interesting.

Alex is fairly new to Flickr, joining in June 2013. He shot self-titled “Master of Venice” on April 6, 2014, using the Nikon D3100 and 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens. Vitals: f/9, ISO 100, 1/40 sec, 55mm. “Lion is the symbol of Venice”, he says. “I found it!”

My question: What is the little master looking at?
