I came to the photostream of Jone Vasaitis by way of self-titled “A Strangely Alive Silence“, which is worthy choice and popular, with about 21,000 views. But resolution of just 1,000 pixels disqualified the still life from feature in this series. The Day goes to another, which just barely makes the cut for similar reason.
Jone shot self-titled “My Treasures” on March 20, 2014, using the Nikon D810. Vitals: f/4, ISO 1000, 1/320 sec, 105mm. The Zenit 3EHNT-8 and Smena 8M are Soviet Union-made 35mm cameras from the height of the film era. I can’t even guess on the third. Composition and post-editing are appropriate for showcasing classic cams like these. Hence, the selection. She joined Flickr in June 2011.
