The Jeopardy answer is: “Because I laughed”. You can guess the question. 🙂 Geraint Rowland shot self-titled “Hola, Greetings from Machu Picchu” on Sept. 10, 2014, using Canon EOS 5D Mark II and EF 85mm f/1.8 USM lens. The glass is a superb prime demonstrating that not all good Canon lenses need the L designation. Vitals: f/10, ISO 250, 1/320 sec. Had I not ventured farther into his photostream, “Love is in the Air, Arequipa” would take the Day. Yeah, selection changed.
Geraint joined Flickr in January 2009. You can also find him on Facebook and Twitter. But his passions are less online social. He co-owns the Jam Box bar, in Lima, Peru, and he promotes Sundried clothing. “The brand is based around the surf and beach culture of Peru”, he says. “I have been taking lifestyle and action photos for Sundried and helping with promotion”. Check out his Sundried album/set.
