Two days ago, when crossing El Cajon Blvd., my wife and I spotted something surprising at the corner of Mississippi Street. We put down our groceries and snapped some quickies—she with iPhone X and me with Leica M (Typ 262).
The Featured Image is the third of four portraits taken. I picked this one over my preferred composition because of how the eye naturally follows the sidewalk to the overstuffed bear; the photo is composed as shot. Vitals, aperture manually set: f/4.8, ISO 200, 1/1500 sec, 50mm; 11:48 am. PDT. Minutes later, on the same block but closer to Meade Ave., I met Persepolis and Sebastian, who have joined my “Cats of University Heights” series.
