The Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM lens is fabulous for portraits, too, as today’s selection shows. Daniel Lee shot self-titled “Staring Out Into The World” on Jan. 18, 2014, using the Canon EOS 6D. Vitals: f/2.8, ISO 400, 1/640 sec. Composition is excellent, which is typical of his style.
Just a couple years into his photographic journey, Daniel made the right investment—in lenses. Bodies come and go, while good glass stays for years. He owns another prime, the EF 35mm f/2 IS USM, and the EF 17-40mm f/4LUSM.
Daniel is a student studying public relations and management in Perth, Australia. He joined Flickr in November 2011, but you also can find him on 500px, Instagram, and his personal photo site.
