Interesting is the word that best describes the art that Ian Sane creates. “I’ll photograph anything that’s interesting”, he says, “but my passion is street photography. I live in Oregon, and the city of Portland is my playground”. But his view of the street, or much anything else, differs remarkably from any other shooter that this series has featured to date. He creates perspective that makes you rethink everyday things. Today’s selection is example.
Ian shot self-titled “Gathering At The Water Cooler” on Aug. 11, 2012, using Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Vitals: f/29, ISO 100, 1/10 sec, 200mm. The title makes the photo even more interesting than the subject or composition. He joined Flickr in October 2008, and keeps a professional page on Facebook.
