I picked the second-to-last pic in the series for capturing my mood: somber. I enjoy curating the photos and end satisfied in completing the task: 365 selections, one a day, each from a different Flickr (no repeat shooters), all licensed Creative Commons. But I am sad to move on to something else.
Ryan Hua shot self-titled “Mr. Lonely, on Jan. 2, 2012—”on the train, in a stormy day, Sydney [Australia]”, he says, using Fujifilm X-E1 and XF35mmF1.4 R lens. Vitals: f/1.4, ISO 200, 1/500 sec, 35mm. Is it just me, or does the subject look more like Ms. Lonely?
Our shooter joined Flickr in June 2008 but stopped posting two years ago. No worries, you can visit his professional photography website, which uh-oh, also was last updated in 2013. Whew, the self-described “travel wedding photographer between Vietnam and Australia” is active on 500px.
