Here is another example of stock photo perfection. No other description suits the work of William Warby, who shot self-titled “Macaw” on Aug. 13, 2013, at the zoo in Santa Barbara, Calif. Vitals, using Olympus E-3 and 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 lens: f/3.5, ISO 320, 1/320 sec, 200mm.
“I earn my living as an analyst/developer for a local government authority in London”, William says. “My spare time is divided unevenly between photography, software/web development, movies, Xbox, and the occasional novel. I make almost all my photos available under the Creative Commons license, having found that trying to monetize my photography sucked the fun out of the experience”. I share sentiments with him.
William joined Flickr in June 2006. Have a look at his photography website, which is as instructional as the pics are beautiful.
