Flickr a Day 345: ‘Beautiful Living Doll’

Forget science fiction fantasies about suddenly stopping the present, or traveling back to the past. Some street photographers are masters of time. They capture a moment, preserve it, and expose within magnificent drama. Thus describes candids that Dirk Förster presents. Each image is motion stopped.

Dirk shot self-titled “Beautiful Living Doll” on Nov. 29, 2014, using Pentax K-5 and
smc DA 50mm f1.8 lens. Vitals: f/2, ISO 1600, 1/320 sec, 50mm. The photo takes the Day for clever composition and title—and for the photographer discerning the scene.

Ha! Unbelievable! I wrote in the intro paragraph before going to Dirk’s website, which is titled “Moments in Time“. Amazing. The style I see is unquestionably deliberate and aptly describes his street art. Our shooter joined Flickr in November 2012.
