I wouldn’t have guessed that cows could catch Coronavirus, too. With that snout, lethal SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome Coronavirus 2)—better known as COVID-19—spray surely should super-spread. What a menace that would be. Let us applaud the owners for their tremendous foresight. 😉
The beast is a University Heights icon, standing watch over passersby from what my wife and I affectionally call the “1917 House”; for its street number. The place typically is the neighborhood’s most festively adorned for every conceivable holiday—or was, before the pandemic pummeled San Diego into economic misery, following Governor Gavin “Gruesome” Newsom’s various statewide shutdown orders. I anxiously hope that the home’s residents revive their decorative spirit and charm the neighborhood with Halloween regalia.
