This morning, as my wife and I walked up Meade from Florida to Georgia, we came upon a row of little houses that reminds of the collection set outside a home on the same block of parallel street Madison. Are my University Heights neighbors taking cues from one another—or perhaps coordinating together? Either is possible, and even coincidence, from families who are long-time residents of this San Diego community.
Does something seem familiar? You may remember this property from April 17, 2021 post “Her Heart Soars” that showcased the graphic-arts sign in the background to the right. Moving along, the first (unpublished) of two shots is wider aperture of f/2.8, which created pleasing bokeh behind but distracting blurry leaves above and before the little houses. So I chose for the Featured Image, taken with Leica Q2, narrower f/5.6 for greater depth-of-field. Other vitals: ISO 100, 1/200 sec, 28mm; 8:40 a.m. PDT.
